Tom Bolt, Managing Attorney of BoltNagi, was elected to the Council of the American Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Section on Friday at the ABA Annual Meeting in Toronto, Canada. Since 1974, LPM has been the leading resource needed to successfully manage a law practice. LPM supplies lawyers and legal professionals with information and resources in the core areas of marketing, management, technology and finance.

"I am humbled to be elected to the Council of this august group." said Bolt.   "The ABA’s Law Practice Management Section brings together the leaders in law firms and law practice management throughout the nation.  I hope to bring my experience in building a successful practice in the U.S. Virgin Islands with the LPM Section as my partner."

The Mission of the ABA’s LPM Section is to investigate, evaluate, develop, and disseminate information and techniques which will make the legal services delivery team more effective, competent, ethical, and responsive to the needs of clients and the public.

In addition to being elected to the ABA LPM Council, it was also announced that Bolt would be the incoming Chair of the LPM’s Member Development Committee.  In preparation for assuming the Chairmanship of the Committee, Bolt worked with the members of the Committee to draft a comprehensive strategic plan to expand ABA LPM membership.

"There is so much value in membership of the ABA/LPM Section.  We hope to convey that value to ABA members and the general public with the design that it will translate into additional members for the LPM Section and educating attorney, both new and old, in how to enhance their law practice.
